Job Offering: Head of School

Description
The diverse student body reflects the richness of the cultures found in the Pueblo, Colorado, area.  McClelland families represent cultures from around the world, including Russia, Mexico, Germany, Thailand, Cambodia, Iran, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, and China. 

There are 152 students in preschool through eighth grade.  The Living Values Education Program has been implemented at every age level and classroom at McClelland.  This well-liked program focuses on core values as guiding principles for developing the whole child.

The McClelland School offers the motivated, educational leader an opportunity to make a great school even greater.  This is a position for a dynamic and "hands-on" leader who understands the importance of a progressive education and who can continuously, through action and collaboration, add value to the McClelland experience.

The Head of School is responsible for all aspects of school operations including, but not limited to, finance, personnel, operations and community relations.

If you love a challenge, if you have super hero aspirations akin to those of Wonder Woman, Superman, or Underdog, and you want to carry out those aspirations in a small, warm, caring, and nurturing community, then perhaps The McClelland School is the place for you.

Requirements
    Bachelors degree - required; Master’s degree - preferred
    Experience managing people and projects
    Administrative and teaching experience
    Curriculum management experience
    Grant writing and fund raising experience

    Excellent communication & team building
    Collaborative management style
    Diplomacy & conflict resolution
    Time management

Compensation
