Early Childhood

Preschool provides a planned curriculum based upon creative and educationally sound activities. Teachers place an emphasis on experiential learning and on age-appropriate curriculum.

Junior kindergarten is a developmentally appropriate educational experience for transitional students who are ready for a full day experience, although not eligible for kindergarten.

Kindergarten is a full-day developmental experience that allows the student and teacher time to focus on socialization and constructive play activities, while emphasizing solid exposure to academics. As part of the learning process, students begin presenting ideas and items publicly in a safe environment. A mentoring program exists whereby kindergarteners work with elementary students during specific activities.

Enrichment classes are offered to all students in the Early Childhood Program on a rotating basis. These classes include art, music, and physical education.
