Preschool & Prekindergarten
The McClelland School’s youngest students approach each day with enthusiasm and excitement! Within the structure of a warm and nurturing environment, our preschool and prekindergarten students thrive. Units built around science and social studies themes help bring learning to life! Field trips are regular events with excursions to Beulah Mountain Park, the Pueblo Zoo, and the fire station… just to name a few!
Lower School
Lower School at McClelland is grades kindergarten through 4th. These classrooms are characterized by hands-on, exploratory learning with thematic units being used through second grade. Parents and students can expect a variety of field trips, special speakers and projects to help students become engaged in the learning process and become lifelong learners.
Middle School
At McClelland, we believe it is critical to a student’s success in high school and beyond to develop strong study skills and habits. All middle school students take an intentional study skills course that includes time management, use of a planner and active reading and note-taking skills.
